We used Informix database system to develop a database system of the National Bank of Moldova that has allowed retrieval of daily exchange rates of 54 currencies since lei went into circulation (http://www.mldnet.com/rates/). After its release in 1996, the application remained up-to-date by now.

Developing different client interactive applications lead us to build a combined solution, offering a number of standard services easily configured according to customers preferences (this includes guest books, message boards, questionnaire forms, polls, forums and conferences - http://work.relsoft.md/ ). This service started in 1999. The same year we developed banner exchange system and web sites tracking and statistics system.

Since 2000 the company has been actively working on developing web projecting automation tools and portal creation systems. We conducted some projects in this area using different database management systems and programming languages. This yielded the site generator http://www.iname.md/ - web site creation solution (Cold Fusion, MS SQL used).

Another product of this kind is AIM system, version 1.0 (Аdvanced Interactive Manager), http://aiminfo.webart.md/ . This platform independent interactive system for automating WWW development provides all necessary tools and functions for maintaining normal life cycle of an Internet resource: development, hosting, support. Integrated development tools allow to considerably reduce the time necessary to develop Web applications and improve the quality of the final product. AIM system proves to be most effective when it is used as a Web-based creation (control) tool for dynamic multilanguage sites, having large hierarchically structured content stored in the database. Web visualization of the site is done automatically. AIM is an easy-to-use WYSIWYG tool for developing and keeping the site contents up-to-date – best solution both for homepages and for large corporate sites. During the period October 2000 to November 2001 we developed 30 AIM based sites, including:

• «Cricova-Acorex» holding site (Unix, Informix, PHP) - http://www.acorex.net/

Since release of AIM v.2 in 2001 (My SQL, PHP), a number of new sites has been developed, including:

• Infotag information agency http://www.infotag.md;
• Police academy http://academy.police.md/;
• Ministry of Internal Affairs of Moldova http://www.mai.md/latestnews_ru/;
• «Relsoft communications» ISP http://www.relsoft.md/.
