Web design
Web design is development of a Web site itself. The more requirements and demands has a customer to its graphic solution, the more sophisticated in functions and volume is the site, the more multilateral and complicated becomes process of its development - from concept planning to its final testing.
There is a large number of books and articles dealing with this Internet technology. Here we describe only a common set of tasks implemented within the limits of the Web design service and give the pricing for every separate task.
Scopes and tasks of the project are determined in strong collaboration and joint work with a client. After the decision about the site scopes is made, the schedule for site development is elaborated and implementation tools are chosen. The work under your site starts from your call (see contacts), your email info@webart.md or the "Order a site" form you fill in.
Conceptual projecting bases on strategic tasks of the client. Thorough analysis of the information material provided by the client and of the typical resources (if existing) leads to development of site structure separate for every language version; then navigation, volume of graphics and programming functions are determined. When we put our relationship with a client on a contractual basis, these decisions and project ideas become basic material for work planning, define term and cost of the project.
Graphic solution. Graphic designers study all available material, determine basic elements of client's corporate identity, define alternatives for its www development, colour palette and general graphic style. A variety of graphic approaches to visual representation of different pages is projected and computer implemented, which further becomes ground for hypertext templates. This stage involves graphic processing and optimisation. The client may also order a company logo, specially drawn objects, collages, GIF and FLASH animation, banners and optimisation of digital audio and video material.
Application programming starts from defining the functions required by the application and implementation tools necessary for its development. Then comes the analysis, the database structure is set up, programming code to be integrated into the hypertext is written and tested and final testing is performed
Content. The client provides digital textual information, which is afterwards processed into the necessary formats. At customer's request, provided it is stipulated in task specification, we collect all relevant material, develop, edit, translate, scan and recognise textual information, as well as perform common and artistic digital shooting of objects. Under separate agreement the Studio may design a template and provide polygraph printing of company's ad booklet. Audio and video material may also be converted to digital format.
Building the hypertext pages or loading the content into the database - the choice is done depending on the technology used to develop the site, yet sometimes we combine both.
Final product testing - complex testing of site, the final stage of the project.
